Mesa stripper left kids in filthy home

June 16, 2009 in Parenting, South Florida, South Florida Fathers by trench reynolds

Police: Children resorted to eating dog food:

Actually the dog food part turned out to be inaccurate but that still doesn’t change everything else that is said to have happened.

Anyway 20-year-old Mesa, Arizona stripper Samantha Abernathy was arrested for allegedly leaving her 1 and 3-year-old children home alone starting at 2am. Police were called at 7:45 am for reports of the kids runing around the apartment complex.

When police arrived they found the kids’ room stained with urine and feces.

The baby daddies didn’t arrive until 10am and stripper mom herself didn’t arrive until 10:45am. She claimed that the she was in Phoenix helping her boyfriend. There is some dispute to what was in the fridge but what is known is that there was little food in the house and there was a lock on the fridge. The dog however did have plenty of food. No word on what kind of dog it was.

Now I’ve known a few strippers in my time and they probably made more in a month than I do in a year. Half of them were very responsible with their money with some of them even sending their own kids to private schools, which I may or may not have helped to fund. The other half were constantly broke where the money was either going up their nose or supporting an unemployed penis.

It seems like that Ms. Abernathy could fall into that second half.

Thanks to Bridget for the tip.

Woman with social work degree burns handicapped daughter

June 2, 2009 in Parenting, South Florida, South Florida Fathers by trench reynolds

Mom accused of repeatedly burning daughter with hot iron:

Fayetteville mother charged with burning her daughter:

33-year-old Nia Michelle Brooks of Fayetteville, NC (or as it’s referred to Fayette Nam) is accused of burning her partially blind and mildly retarded 11-year-old daughter with an iron. Police allege that Brooks burnt the girl with a hot iron on her arms and legs. Police say the girl was burnt because she didn’t iron her Easter dress correctly. Brooks said the iron fell on the girl. Yeah right, four times maybe.

To try and hide her crime Brooks allegedly sent the girl to school in coats, long sleeve shirts and long pants. If you’ve ever experienced a Carolina summer you know that’s pretty much abuse in itself.

And oh yeah, as mentioned in the title Brooks has a bachelor’s degree in social work. Whatever college she got it from should demand it back. And again no matter how smart you think you are hospitals, police and sometimes schools know more than you do. You can’t hid abuse from them.

Thanks to Luci and Angela for the tips.

Canadian Nazi Breeders blame daughter

May 27, 2009 in Parenting, South Florida, South Florida Fathers by trench reynolds

Parents put blame on daughter for racist remarks, custody hearing told:

I originally posted about the Canadian Nazi Breeders here.

The unnamed mom from Winnipeg is accused of drawing a Nazi symbol on her 7-year-old daughter’s arm and sending her to school. The teacher saw the symbol and washed it off. The next day the girl arrived at school with even more Nazi symbols drawn on her. That’s when Child and Family Services stepped in and took the kids. The residence also had a number of Neo-Nazi and White Power regalia. In the original article the mother admits that she made a mistake. Shortly after the children were taken she and her estranged husband, the girl’s stepfather, tried to blame the daughter basically calling her a liar.

They told the social worker their daughter often makes things up, and was famous for lying, the worker testified. The parents also said the girl had likely drawn some of the symbols on her body herself.

And according to the girl herself it seems that the mom was find until the new Nazi penis came along…

The girl said she used to have non-white friends before her stepdad came along, but after he was in her life, the girl’s mother told her, “If you have a friend who’s not white, I won’t be your mom anymore,” the social worker testified.

The girl said she used to have non-white friends before her stepdad came along, but after he was in her life, the girl’s mother told her, “If you have a friend who’s not white, I won’t be your mom anymore,” the social worker testified.

Look, I don’t care what racist philosophy you embrace but once it starts infringing in the rights of other people then I have a problem. In this case in endangered the rights and safety of their daughter. That means you lose you rights to your kids.

And before anyone tries to give me the crap about how come their can be minority organizations but if there’s a white one it’s considered racist. How about the fact that whites excluded minorities from so many organizations for so long. It wasn’t too long ago that minorities couldn’t attend the same schools as whites and let’s not forget the whiote only restrooms and water fountains and lunch counters either. So suck it racists.

Dating Violence Escalating … Among Teenagers

January 6, 2009 in Parenting, South Florida, South Florida Fathers by janet langjahr

Teenagers. Dating. Holding hands.

Murdering the objects of their affections …

A 20 year old man was convicted of stabbing and dismembering his girlfriend’s body in Indianapolis.

In Texas, a 15 year old girl was stabbed to death at school and an 18 year old girl was shot and killed there.

And these are not just rare, isolated cases.

As a result, communities are trying to raise awareness, among kids, their parents and their teachers, of the behaviors that should raise red flags.

Texas passed a law that defines dating violence within the school safety codes.

Rhode Island passed a law that mandates teaching seventh-graders through twelfth-graders about dating abuse.

New York recently made restraining orders available for the first time to teenagers who are victims of dating violence. Before this, victims’ only remedy was to press criminal charges.

Indianapolis is training police officers in schools to recognize warning signs of dating abuse, and older kids to act as dating mentors and advisors to younger kids.

According to surveys, dating violence has risen by about 40% since just 1999, and may victimize 10% of teens.

Experts believe that cell phones and the internet have facilitated harassing behaviors. Another survey suggests that twenty-five percent of teens have been harassed by a date.

Yet another survey suggests that one-third of teens have been victims of emotional abuse by a dating partner, if not physical abuse.

Dating abuse is also believed to spur drinking, suicides, aggression and sexual activity in teenagers.

And even among teens, dating violence and abuse is about exerting power and control in the relationship.

Talk to your kids about their dating habits and …
